The problem statement

Innovating effectively requires the combination of hypothesis-driven execution, collaborative learning with your team to understand what’s working and where course-correction is needed, and a culture that is conducive to growth.

Without these elements in place you might be experiencing the following symptoms:

DIAGNOSIS

Hypermetricemia

Hypermetricemia

Focusing excessively on metrics irrespective of whether those are the right ones to measure.

Hypometricemia

Hypometricemia

Not measuring much because it's unclear how you should measure success.

Dysfunctional team dynamics

Dysfunctional team dynamics

Work often feels less meaningful and more soul-sucking. Team senses the danger of burnout.

Lacking a culture of learning

Lacking a culture of learning

Team loses momentum on projects because it wasn’t clear what didn’t work and the lesson learnt.

What you will learn

image

Translating a strategy into hypotheses-driven execution

You’ll learn to translate your comprehensive product strategy into a set of hypotheses and metrics. Through hands-on exercises you’ll develop a mindset where every feature becomes an experiment you learn from – you’ll learn to continuously improve your product and convert an actionable strategy into Agile sprints and daily activities.

image

Identifying metrics that matter

Popular metrics such as daily active users or time spent on page may not be right for your product. And lagging indicators such as revenues typically don’t pinpoint what isn’t working. Learn to identify leading and lagging indicators to validate whether an initiative or a feature is working and where you need to course-correct.

image

When to use quantitative vs. qualitative metrics

The pursuit of being data-driven often results in ignoring qualitative metrics which are often just as important as quantitative ones. Through hands-on exercises you’ll identify both types of metrics that are the best indicators of success for your product.

Developing an action plan to level up team culture

Level up as a leader by learning to engineer the culture your team needs to innovate smarter. You’ll learn a powerful framework to define your team’s existing culture. You’ll then identify the change you’d like to see in team culture and develop an actionable plan through hands-on exercises.

What clients are saying

Prior to the RPT workshop with Radhika, I felt stuck in a cycle of iterative development. Her methodology shifted my mindset and resulted in tangible improvements:

  • Increased Alignment: Communicating the 'why' behind our product strategy has fostered a shared understanding and enthusiasm among team members and stakeholders
  • Impactful Prioritization: We've gotten better at prioritizing features that align with our vision, leading to a more focused roadmap.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Prioritizing real customer needs has significantly increased satisfaction and engagement.

The workshop was a turning point in my career, and will equip product professionals with the skills needed to create truly revolutionary products.

- Suhasa Gottumukkala, Product and AI Lead, POSpulse

Radhika Dutt challenges you to think about product development and product management strategies and tactics in a radical new way. Her workshops provide you with new and innovative approaches and tools, all based on her research and own experience. She draws from a variety of industries and countries in her presentations and builds them into the exercises participants go through. I found the workshops highly valuable and would recommend them to any organization that wants to up their game or prepare someone for product leadership.
